1. Mikel chose Chelsea over Manchester United

In the year 2005, there was a dispute between Chelsea and Manchester United over the signature of Mikel Obi, but the former Pepsi Academy player decided to sign for Chelsea, and he has been at Stamford Bridge since then. Mikel is also the second long serving Chelsea player after John Terry.
